Solar's leader Zelda took him under her wing and became his mentor, and he would join Solar himself once it was realized he too possessed the Echo and strange ability to see emotions as part of it.  +Solar is the group that took Akku in and, even in the chaos of saving the world, offered much needed stability to his life. He would do anything for them, and frequently gives them little gifts or plans various outings to spend time with them. He struggles to be open about his own problems, as he would rather make sure theirs are solved.

The two constantly trade advice, Altais is often too harsh and Akku too kind so they often balance each other out.
